Ludwig's Coffee and Tea House
Period Piece Branding Campaign
Project Background
A project that leans more into the experimental side of things, this endeavor involved making a branding campaign after choosing a specific art style and industry. For the art style, the one chosen was the Bauhaus style for how intriguing it was for simplistic shapes to come together and make something more complex; for industry, it was decided on coffee and tea because why choose branding for one when both could be done in tandem? After looking into the background of Bauhaus and its origins, the restaurant was dubbed Ludwig’s Coffee and Tea House, named after German-American architect and director of the Staatliches Bauhaus school of modernist art, design and architecture, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
